Bridge Repair June 2009 Pretty Channel
I want to thank those who came out to help on Saturday June 6th tearing down the old railing and building the 2 new ones. Thge railing are 85 feet long. Thanks to a 12 person work crew we loaded all of the lumber into two 14' aluminum boats. Believe me they were loaded and would not pass for the boating safety award. You will see the attached photos of the Jeff Rapson's boat landing at Pretty Channel just in time.
Thanks to Don Martin, Greg Rapson, Jeff Rapson, Andy Dunlop, Kevin Bruce, Kevin Dawson, Andy Hale, Peter Halliday, Jim and Peggy Fouracre, Brent Gordon and Bob McKeller. Also thanks to Ron Martin for loading up the boats and Rob Roth for showing up with the beverages just as the job was done. We started loading the boats at 8.00 am and the old railings were burnt and the new railings were up by just after 11.15 am. Excellent job. Thanks

Greg Rapson rebuilt this 1993 Ski-doo Alpine and drag to groom a small section that the BR180 cannot cross over because of a deep swamp.
